Rotalin Design - 'No Arms and Linkages'
The Rotalin design eradicates the need for traditional external arms and linkages, which are fragile at best and prone to damage.
All linear to rotary conversion is accomplished internally with a simple, robust design and externally the mounting is compatible with NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 to accommodate standard off the shelf accessories.
Lower Cost - 30% Less than current designs!
Externally mounted systems, which utilize mounting plates and linkages must be designed and constructed to adapt to each valve and cylinder application, which is costly.
Rotalin needs no external apparatus to be designed, machined and fitted as it provides a Namur Standard mounting pad.
Engineering and bracket costs are History!
"What you see is what you get"
Unlike proximity, sonar or capacitance sensing devices etc, which have no physical connection to the valve position, the Rotalin internal rotary conversion mechanism is mechanically coupled to the cylinder shaft and rotating external hub.
'If it's indicating closed it's closed'.
Rotalin is ideal for use on fully shrouded or bonneted knife gates, pinch valves or diaphragm valves which inhibit the use of linkages. The internal mechanism is protected against touch and external influences to fulfill the requirements of accident prevention regulations UVV (VBG 5).
Easily Adapted
Rotalin cylinders are easily adapted to any manufacturers valve, ie pinch valves, plug valves, gate valves, knife gates, diaphragm valves, Vane or damper operators etc etc.
In the past difficult to provide indication, control or feedback to these valves.
The answer is compact simple and cost efficient Rotalin.
